Adefila & Partners is a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers providing professional real estate consultancy and property services to individuals, businesses, institutions and investors.
The practice has a history spanning over four decades. Its foundation can be traced to Adefila, Akinsomi, Salako & Partners, established in April 1985 under the leadership of our Principal Partner, Mr. Thomas Kolawole Adefila.

In March 2003, Adefila & Partners was established to refocus and reposition the practice for greater efficiency, effectiveness and professional service delivery in an increasingly dynamic real estate environment.
Since then, the firm has continued to develop its practice across various areas of real estate, providing clients with professional advice and solutions informed by experience, market knowledge and a thorough understanding of their individual requirements.

Meet the Principal Partner
ESV Thomas Kolawole Adefila, FNIVS
Thomas Kolawole Adefila is the Principal Partner of Adefila & Partners, with a professional career in estate surveying, valuation and property consultancy dating back to 1977. He previously led Adefila, Akinsomi, Salako & Partners, established in April 1985, before the practice was restructured into Adefila & Partners in March 2003. His career spans public and private sector practice, beginning with service in housing corporations before moving into private practice. Over the years, he has undertaken valuation and consultancy assignments involving hotels, industrial facilities, petroleum depots, filling stations, plants and machinery, as well as privatization exercises, compensation assessments and land acquisition for major gas, power and pipeline infrastructure projects. He studied Estate Management at Obafemi Awolowo University and has participated in international real estate conferences and professional engagements in Israel, Spain and Ghana. His professional affiliations include the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) and other property and facilities management organisations. As Principal Partner, Mr. Adefila provides professional leadership and direction for the firm's practice, drawing on decades of industry experience to guide its valuation and consultancy services. His career reflects a longstanding commitment to professional integrity, sound judgement and dependable client service.
Meet the Managing Partner
ESV Olusola Oladipo Olanipekun, FNIVS
Olusola Oladipo Olanipekun is the Managing Partner of Adefila & Partners, with experience in estate agency, property transactions, valuation and real estate consultancy. Since beginning his career in 1992, he has worked across property sales and lettings, acquisitions, industrial asset valuation, compensation assessments and land acquisition for major infrastructure projects. His experience includes valuation assignments for corporate organisations and public-sector institutions, covering industrial facilities, plants and machinery, petroleum depots and filling stations, as well as privatization and right-of-way projects. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and registered with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON). As Managing Partner, he contributes his experience in property practice and valuation to the firm's professional services, management and client relationships.

ESV Segun Joshua Adefila, FNIVS
Segun Joshua Adefila is a Partner at Adefila & Partners with experience in estate surveying, property valuation and asset consultancy. Since joining the firm’s predecessor practice in 1996, he has worked on assignments involving land, buildings, industrial assets and infrastructure projects, including compensation assessments and land acquisition for gas, power and pipeline developments. He holds an HND in Estate Management from Yaba College of Technology, a B.Sc. in Business Administration, an M.Sc. in Project Management from Kwara State University, Malete, and a Certificate in Commercial Property Practice from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), registered with ESVARBON, an Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Cost Management and a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Strategic Management. As Partner, he brings his valuation expertise, commercial property knowledge and project management background to the firm’s consultancy practice.

ESV SAMUEL ABDUL OJO
Mr. Abdul is a seasoned real estate professional with over 12 years of experience in preperty management, facility management, and estate surveying. He leads our facilities and property management team, overseeing property maintenance, repairs, and upgrades; as well as lease negotiations and tenant relations. Samuel's expertise includes property acquisitions, market research, and financial analysis. He holds a Master's in Facilities Management from the University of Lagos and is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.
ESV KOLAWOLE FATAI GBAMIGBOYE
Mr. Bamigboye is a dedicated estate surveyor with a strong background in estate management. He holds an HND in Estate Management from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and has gained diverse experience in the field. His professional journey has taken him from roles at Toki & Company, Bola Onabanjo & Company, and Mushin Local Government Council to Adefila & Partners, where he has been an integral part of the team since its start. With over two decades of experience, He provides expert services in estate surveying, valuation, and management.
ESV SUNDAY B. OJO
Sunday B. Ojo With over 30 years of experience in estate surveying and valuation, He brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He holds an HND in Town and Regional Planning from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. Sunday Ojo is a member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and has worked with top firms in Lagos. He has been an integral part of Adefila & Partners since 2003, providing expert services in estate surveying, valuation, and management.

WASIU AYINLA
WASIU AYINLA
Jimoh Wasiu Ayinla Mr. Wasiu is a dedicated estate surveyor with over two decades of experience. He started his career at Kwara State Ministry of Land & Housing in 2002 and later joined Adefila & Partners as an intern in 2004. He rose through the ranks to become an Estate Assistant in 2006 and eventually an Estate Surveyor in 2024. Jimoh's expertise spans estate surveying, valuation, and management. He is a valuable asset to our team, providing top-notch services to clients.
